Protect the earth
Bless its people

On December 15, over a hundred people walked in windchills below zero, proclaiming “We Come Bearing Peace”.  It was our annual posada procession with our mother church, St. Paul’s.  Posada is the ancient Mexican tradition of walking with Mary and Joseph, seeking shelter.  We said: “we will keep opening doors, for all children are holy!”

Here’s a link to a short video:

All the proceeds from the offering on that day go to two groups providing help with immigrants in legal situations: the Immigrant Law Center of MN and the Interfaith Coalition on Immigration.  You can still contribute at: Or send checks made out to “St. Paul’s Lutheran” to 2742 15th Ave S.   Minneapolis, MN 55407

We seek to protect the earth, as well as the people in it. Please join us, Sunday, December 29 for our final Harvest Fest of the year.  Sample the salsa and jam our youth made, learn how to can and freeze, and how we take care of the earth that sustains us, even in the winter.  Our mother church, St. Paul’s invites you to sing Christmas carols from around the world at a bilingual service at 11 am, followed by a potluck and herb planting for the long winter.

And from our partners at St. Paul’s:
