Are you an artist who’s looking for rehearsal or performance space? Do you know an artist who needs rehearsal or performance space? Looking for a short-term residency? The Semilla Center for Healing and the Arts @ St. Paul’s may be a place for you!

We have hosted rehearsals and performances from local and international theatre companies, including Ten Thousand Things, In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre and Chain Reaction Theatre. We host an annual art and music festival, as well as pop-up neighborhood events. And local writers and artists have held residency through our center. We have a fully equipped mosaic studio.

Here’s what puppet artist Gustavo Boada says about his experience:

“I am very grateful that the Semilla Center for Healing and the Arts @ Saint Paul’s Lutheran facilitated the use of one of its spaces for our rehearsals of the work that we presented at the Park Square Theater in Saint Paul, as part of the “WORDS” Project of Other Tiger Productions based on the work; Federico Garcia Lorca’s “Wedding of Blood”, allowing a group of local artists and young neighbors to prepare successfully for this project.”

Thank you to all who have donated to our campaign to improve our mosaic studio and replace stolen cameras for our youth photography project. We’ve received over $1,400 so far. Please help us reach our goal by donating today!
